Texas State Parks need our help.
Looking for ways to help Texas State Parks? We have some suggestions. The best way to support our Parks is to head out and spend some time enjoying our Texas treasures. You can also make a contribution to our fund drive.
All during the month of April, you can make donations for Texas State Parks at Whole Earth Provision Co. stores. Donations are gratefully accepted in any amount.
Donate $20 or more and receive a $5 Texas
State Parks Gift Card that can be used toward
park entrance fees or park store purchases.
Make a $50 or more donation and you’ll receive
a limited edition Whole Earth branded multifunctional Buff® headwear, and the Gift Card! The donations are used to help with day-to-day State Park operational expenses including visitor programs and maintaining Park facilities.
On your next visit to Whole Earth Provision Co. pick up a free copy of the State Park Guide (while supplies last). This handy, informative booklet will help you plan a day trip or an extended stay at any of our Texas parks. A Regional Parks section helps you locate parks close to home or farther afield, and a Facilities and Activities Index lets you know what you might expect to find there.
Don’t forget to check out Texas Parks & Wildlife’s website. Click on Activities to see a Calendar of Events for all State Parks or a list of specific activities, like biking, birding or stargazing and the participating parks. The State Parks section leads you to detailed information about each park, including a short video introduction.
Sunday, April 9th 2017 from 2pm – 4pm
A Ranger from the Texas Parks & Wildlife Department will be at each of our stores to chat with folks, give pointers on where to go and what activities you can do at our Parks,
and pass out literature to help guide you
on your next outing.
With 90+ Texas State Parks, there is
something out there for everyone!
Last year, Whole Earth raised more than $30,000, combining in-store customer donations and ticket
sale proceeds from the Banff Mountain Film Festival held in Austin. This brings the five year total to $148,507! We thank you so much and hope you will join us again in supporting our Texas State Parks. Last of all, one of the best ways to support our Parks, is to visit them!
